EACH CLUB GIVES AWARDS AT EACH SHOW,

The East Texas Horse Show Association was founded in 1962 with the specific purpose of promoting fellowship and friendship among amateur horse people in East Texas. It's goal is to keep alive the tradition of the Texas horseman and to encourage fair play, set definite rules for contests, and to promote goodwill and sportsmanship.

July 10th Speed & July 17 Pleasure
ETHSA will give a High Point and Reserve Trophy for 17&under overall
All Contestants names will be put in a drawing for $250 worth of Gift Certificates
(some $10's, $15's, & $20's) for each show
YEAR END JACKET EXAMPLES WILL BE THERE TO TRY FOR SIZE

CC	CHEROKEE COUNTY IN JACKSONVILLE
TSC	TYLER SADDLE CLUB

Contestants must ride in at least _5_out of _7_ shows to qualify for year end awards.

Pleasure contestants must compete in at least three (3) performance events in every show they compete for points to count for year end awards.

Points will be earned in the following age groups for year end high point & reserve high point:

For Speed Division:
	Boy – Girl - 6 & under
	Boy – Girl - 7-9
	Boy – Girl - 10-12
	Boy – Girl - 13-17
	Man – Woman 18-39
	Man – Woman 40&over

For Western Division:
	9 & under 10-12 13-17
	18-39 40 & over

For English Division:
	12 & under
	13-17
	18 & over

Through the Paint Alternative Competition Program, you can get recognition for accomplishments in the competitive events you enjoy.
